Olivia Fowler , Katie Tompkins and Billy Cutler represented all the club's volunteers tonight at the Flitwick Town Councils community award presentation evening .

The category of local club award for volunteering was presented by the Flitwick town Mayor Mr Phillip Thompson who  said that the club had stood out above all others in the community to receive this award.

Flitwick Dolphins has an amazing team of dedicated volunteers, parents, extended family members and swimmer volunteers and this award was accepted  by these three senior swimmers on behalf of all the clubs volunteers.

The club would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to all our volunteers. There are many ways that you can help the club, non-technical roles are vital part of running events for the club as well as those who become ASA technical qualified officials.

The Club website now has a page dedicated to our volunteers which will be being further updated.  If you'd like any information on how you can volunteer for the club please do not hesitate to email in on Swim club manager , there is bound to be a volunteering opportunity that is ideally suited to you.

Thank you to Olivia , Katie and Billy for giving up their time this evening to represent the club , they were exceptional.

The club's press officer , James Handler  will prepare further news with more pictures and these will be posted on the club website and mailed out to members .

The award will be put on display at the cabinet at the Flitwick Library where we are exhibiting for the next two weeks.  It will also be available to view at the club AGM.
